Publishing Print Art and being a Publisher

Production & Publishing – Quality for the Arts

Thanks to our own workshops for print preparation, high-quality art printing, and framing, we can provide artists with comprehensive support in the professional preparation of their works. Without this infrastructure, many of them would not have access to the museum quality demanded by the art market—we make it possible.

As part of our AiD publishing house, we publish:

  • handcrafted artist books
  • limited editions
  • unique pieces by our artists

Our publishing work began with the self-publication of our own works. Today, this has developed into a professional program that showcases artistic positions sichtbar macht und nachhaltig fördert.

Artist books & editions – collaboration across university boundaries

When Hannah took part in the Ray Master Class in 2018 and presented her work Observation Deck, students from other universities showed great interest in developing artist books and image editions together with us.

This encounter led to numerous collaborations – with artists from other universities as well as established figures who were enthusiastic about working with our publishing house.

This led to a wide range of publications by AiD Verlag, from handmade artist books and limited editions to unique pieces. Our publishing activities began with the self-publication of our own works, and today this has grown into a network of creative partnerships.

AiD Gallery – Appearances as a producer gallery

Since many established gallery owners initially wait two to three years to observe the development of young artists after they graduate from college, it is often difficult for graduates to gain initial experience in the art market.

The AiD Gallery therefore also takes on the role of a producer gallery. It offers young artists a platform to gain initial exhibition experience and present themselves at art fairs.

Since many established gallery owners want to wait two to three years to see how young artists develop after graduating from college, it is difficult for college graduates to gain initial experience in the art market. The studios in the Delta therefore act as a producer gallery, offering the necessary platform to gain initial experience in the exhibition arena and at art fairs.
